No, the even/odd symmetry functions only work for lattice directions 
where the lattice vector is orthogonal to the other lattice vectors.

Not without going to a supercell calculation.  (There is a rectangular 
supercell for the triangular lattice with twice the area of the primitive 
cell, but this means that the bands are folded by a factor of two, losing 
most of the advantage of using even/odd symmetry.)
