hello MPB users,

just an FYI for those of you who, like me, use MPB to do  
three-dimensional calculations - i have been finding this data  
visualization package to be very useful:

   http://www.llnl.gov/visit

it can read the HDF5 files output by mpb directly, so there is no need  
to fiddle or convert to v5d format; binaries exist for nearly every  
operating system out there, and the volume plotting / analysis tools  
are (in my opinion, anyway) far superior to what you find in vis5d and  
mayavi.
