Defect point inside slab phc

Dear Mpb users, I compute with MPB a defect (missing 3 air holes in gamma-k direction) in a phc (triangular lattice composed of air holes inside a dielectric slab). I compute the diagram band with the list-k points (gamma, M, K ,gamma). At k point, I obtained the same frequency and field pattern (for my defect state) than meep simulation with harminv. At M point, I obtained different modes with different patterns. I expected to obtained the same pattern for the defect modes at different k point since the defect state is independent of K, is that right ? The fact to compute the band with a list of K-point, does it cause wrong result? (if it is the case, I don't get why), or is there another explanation ? or, simply, my reasoning is wrong.
