Hey Matthew, My experience is that if you use fcc lattice to write woodpile structure, there should be only two cylinder (or block). These two objects should be centered at (0 0 0) and (0.25 0.25 -0.25). Remember the space vectors are all based on your basis vectors. Hope this could help.
