Dear users, I' d like to use a band diagram from MPB to extract information about what frequencies are important to some phonomena I want to observe with MEEP. For instance, if we looking for a slow light regime, we would pay attention for frequencies ranges where the curve wXk is horizontal, because dw/dk would be nearly zero. But, here is my problem. In band diagrams from MPB, how can I convert the frequencies to MEEP? i.e., how can I convert the units in band diagram from MPB to MEEP units? Another example: if, in a band diagram from MPB, we have a band gap from 0.2 to 0.3, what is this range in MEEP units? Thank you. -- Cícero Julião da Silva Junior ____________________________________ Institute of Physics - UFAL www.ufal.br _______________________________________________ mpb-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://ab-initio.mit.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mpb-discuss
