bug 2 in find_best_partition

I compiled MPB (and all its prerequisite libraries; not parallel). The 
executable works for 2-dimensional cases, but not 3d. It prints the error 
message in the subject to stderr. Stdout ends after the "Geometric Objects" 
block, but before "Geometric object tree has depth 1 and 12 object nodes (vs. 2 
actual objects)" (the latter line is from a working version on a different 
computer).

Any ideas? The message seems to come from libctl, but I can't figure out what it 
means.
