EPSILON file not generated with out file using mpb

I have managed to install mpb and it is perfectly computing band gap but when i
wish to visualize the the results, i could not find any  "epsilon.h file" which
is ought to be generated with tri-rods.out when i run the command 

mpb tri-rods.ctl >& tri-rods.out

only tri-rods.out is generated in home directory and no .h5 file is generated.
I have checked all the possible ways may not produce the .h5 file eg.
hdf5,zlib,szip,hdfview.
i have installed these pro grammes several times but still it doesnt generate
the epsilon.h5 file in the directory. Please help me out.
