dispersion materials in MPB

Dear Dr. Steven and users,

I am dealing with a polymer whose dielectric permittivity has about 30
lorentz oscillators, making it highly dispersive. Hence, I am unable to
calculate the bandgaps directly using MPB.

While an  old post dating to 2006,

suggests a way of dealing with this issue, I am unable to proceed.

(1) Please let me know if there is a way to solve for the bandgap of
dispersive materials in the new versions.
(2) If someone in group has worked on this issue before, kindly reply.
