unable to generate "epsilon.h5" file using MPB python interface

Dear MPB community,

I recently installed the MEEP package via the recommended Conda packages
way (https://meep.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Installation/).

When I ran the tutorial examples, I found that the "epsilon.h5" file for
the dielectric functions was not generated, while other .h5 field files
(e.g., "-e.k01.b01.z.tm.h5") were generated (as expected from the tutorial).

I've searched this mailing list (and many other searches) for possible
precedence but couldn't find a similar situation in previous questions.
Could anyone give me a hand? I appreciate your valuable help!
