I've got the following packages compiled from sources
on my system:
gtk2-2.2.1-4
gtkextra2-2.0.0-1
python-2.2.1-17
python-numeric-17.3.0-3
numarray-1.3.0-1
libscigraphica-2.0.0-1
scigraphica-2.0.0-1

SciGraphica crashes when I do the following:
run the application->double click on the default
worksheet->add two couples of numbers->click "Polar" in
the main gui->double click on a new plot->click "Add
dataset" in the plot gui->select "SciGraphica
Worksheet"->select "R-Angle Scatter"->click "OK"->crash

The stack from gdb is attached.
