I think the project is alive! 

Adrian has been working on the code alone. It is supposed to be a big
rewrite of code to create a plugin system for scigraphica to interact
with other gnome applications. 

A version of the new code has been committed to CVS, but I can't compile
it. I have not invested much time trying, since I don't need plotting
tools at this stage of my PhD.

Anyway, I would also like to contribute to the project! I think there
should be more discussion about features and implementation so that
tasks can be efficiently divided among the developers. Perhaps
redesigning the website would help to organize things.
