Re: gtk v2 version

Hi Jan. Since you mention it, I'm going to need some help with the new 
automake stuff, if you (or anyone on the list) can contribute, that 
would be great.
BTW, I haven't had any problems to compile on RH7.3. Just do:
$ ./autogen.sh
$ ./configure
$ make; make install
