Seems to be the same problem as mentioned in thread: "Bug-report Segmentation 
Fault on startup". You need to have the gtk-1.2/glib-1.2 libs, which you have 
of course. and the gtk-module for python, which has to use gtk-1.2 itself, 
too (Unfortunatly sg as rather old). I think if you have pygtk, which is I 
suppose using gtk-2, you need another version of it using gtk-1.2, additional 
on your system, and then tell sg to use it (menu: scripts: configure: 
menu-paths)
