OK, sorry for the delay on this, other parts of my app took my
attention for a couple of days.

	Here is my environment:

Mandrake 9.1 (2.4.21 kernel, pretty vanilla)
glib 2.2.3
gtk+ 2.2.4
pango 1.2
gtkextra - from CVS a couple of weeks ago

I can export both the plot and canvas it is on, and the text is there.
I have attached both these export postscript files. In these examples
the only text is the tick labels, but the problem affects any text on
the plot (I have tried a number of experiments).

However, when viewing the plot on the screen, each of the text strings
comes out as only a 1 or 2 pixel dot.

I'm really at a loss on this one, after going through a lot of the
code. Any ideas?

	Thanks!
