I have put two children on a GtkPlotCanvas, one is an ellipse and the
other a line:
--------------------
/* Create the bubble, start it at center screen so we don't get any
trouble being off-canvas. */
plotBubbleEllipse =
gtk_plot_canvas_ellipse_new(GTK_PLOT_LINE_SOLID,
1,
(GdkColor *)NULL,
(GdkColor *)NULL,
FALSE);
gtk_plot_canvas_put_child(GTK_PLOT_CANVAS(canvas),
plotBubbleEllipse,
0.5 - BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_X,
0.5 - BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_Y,
0.5 + BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_X,
0.5 + BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_Y);
/* Create the line. */
plotBubbleLine =
gtk_plot_canvas_line_new(GTK_PLOT_LINE_SOLID,
1,
(GdkColor *)NULL,
GTK_PLOT_CANVAS_ARROW_NONE);
gtk_plot_canvas_put_child(GTK_PLOT_CANVAS(canvas),
plotBubbleLine,
0.5,
0.5 + BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_Y,
0.5,
0.7);
--------------------
I then attempt to move both of them:
gtk_plot_canvas_child_move(GTK_PLOT_CANVAS(canvas),
GTK_PLOT_CANVAS_CHILD(plotBubbleEllipse),
bubbleX - BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_X,
bubbleY + BUBBLE_CENTER_OFFSET_Y);
gtk_plot_canvas_child_move_resize(GTK_PLOT_CANVAS(canvas),
GTK_PLOT_CANVAS_CHILD(plotBubbleLine),
lineX,
lineY,
runX[countRunPoints],
runY[countRunPoints]);
I have confirmed that my coordinate values above are correct (lineX,
lineY, etc.). However, the ellipse moves, but the line does not. The
line just stays where I initially put it.
Adrian: is it not possible to move/resize a line that is a child in a
canvas, as you can with other kinds of children?
Thanks!
