Re: Traversing through data points and displaying the value

I have tried connecting the "select_item" signal but nothing happens
when I run the program and I try to actually click on the canvas or
any of the data points. I have also attempted to do the same on the
testrealtime example and it did not work properly there either. I
tried it on the testrealtime example because it most resembles my
program with the addition that I have added a horizontal slider which
allows me to go back and review previous points.

I was wondering if there is a particular definition that the
testrealtime example differs from the testgtkplot which may be
responsible for the fact that the select_item does not function
properly.
