gtkplot example!

I'm trying to compile a program example using gtk extra...
The compiler is devc++.
My compiler errors are:
undefined reference to gtk_plot_new
undefined reference to gtk_plot_canvas_new

can you tell me why??
do i've to add any option to my compiler parameters??
(i had -mms-bitfields
       -mno-cygwin)
