Compiling gtkextra-2 problems

I'm trying to compile gtkextra-2 from CVS.  However when I run the
autogen.sh I get the following errors:

run "./configure ; make"

Now it says there is a ./configure, but it only has ./config.guess and
./config.sub, no ./configure.  Am I missing something here?
