Re: configuration error - can't build gtkextra-2 on RH9

I've been working on that this weekend. These people have been doing a 
mess with automake/autoconf, but there is a way to deal with it.

1) Run autoupdate:
$ autoupdate
This will update the configure.in file with the new macos

2) You have to modify autogen.sh and replace "aclocal" and "automake" by 
"aclocal-1.4" and "automake-1.4" (You may have to create a directory 
"m4" but I'm not sure).

3) Run autogen.sh, ./configure and make as usual

Hope this woks. If it doesn't, you may have to edit configure.in. I'll 
post a new script and configure.in file as soon as possible. Saludos,
