several EndNote bibliographies in one Word file?

Hi, everyone,

We're using EndNote X on Windows XP.

We have a 100-page, 10-chapter Word file. The chapters must be organized
as one Word file. We cannot split them into separate files and we can't
use a Master Document. Each chapter will have a dedicated bibliography
section. We want to use EndNote, but I don't know how to incorporate
several EndNote bibs into one Word file.

The authors are willing to move the chapter-specific bibliographies to
the end of the Word file, but they want to organize the content by
chapter. (They want to wind up with 10 headings--one per chapter--and
beneath each heading, they want to list the relevant references for that
section and organize those according to the author's last name.)

Maybe there's an EndNote feature that handles this and I don't know its
name. I've scanned the index entries in the user's manual, but the only
thing that sounds like it could accomplish this is a Subject
Bibliography. Is that the way to do this or is there a different/easier
way to go? Maybe I should use the export feature--select the entries
that belong to each chapter, export them, and then insert them into the
Word file. That produces .txt or .rtf, which would have to be replaced
if the bibs entries change or if you add new ones/delete existing ones.
It seems risky to do this. Is there some other sort of more automated
way to handle this?

Thanks so much for any help/pointers.
