Hello,

Could there be another Medline filter in the shared drive that comes
before yours in the alphabetical list. Then EndNote will use that one
preferentially.

Subject: Direct export to Ovid Medline

Dear All,

This is baffling me!

Our Medline (Ovid) filter should import the Medline AU field to Notes,
and the FA field to Author. But it doesn't. It imports both to
Author, resulting in duplicate authors. I have edited the filter to
make it ignore AU but it still imports both AU and FA to Author.

The really strange thing is: if I have the filter installed on my own
individual network space, it works. If I store it on a shared drive
where every EndNote user on campus can use it, it does not work.

Has this happened to anyone? I have already been in touch with Ovid,
with EndNote technical support, and with my own IT people, with no joy
so far.

Thank you,

Keith
