Frustrated with inability to do any online searches

Hello,

I recently upgraded from version 4 to x1.  Unfortunately when I attempt
to do an online search on Pubmed or any other public reference library
the search window does not come up.  In fact, I cannot see that I'm able
to connect to any libraries.  I've tried re-installing 2x and as well
disabling all firewall software.  Also when I attempt to register for
webconnect I get the following error:

Subscription Error 

Sorry, your current IP address: 24.178.65.196 is not authorized for this
product at this moment.

What is going on???  My version 4x used to work fine before Pubmed made
the upgrades????
