I patched trac.xapian.org earlier today.

Thanks to James for tracking down the bug (and apologies for taking
a while to actually apply the fix).  In case you're interested we
believe this is the problem we've been hitting:

If anyone still has issues with trac registration (or password reset
or the like), please let us know.
