Hello everyone,

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, we will be introducing a number of new
features into the ARIS analyzer service over the next few months. Tonight
we will be incorporating a number of changes into the current "Accounts"
page. These changes are listed below:

- The "Accounts" tab will be renamed to "Settings"

- The "Settings" page will be separated into three subcategories:

  1. Account Settings - This subcategory will contain the existing account
settings page, including password change options, contact information, and
configuration of your daily email summary reports.

  2. System Settings - This subcategory will contain configuration options
for each system, or sensor you have configured to submit data to ARIS.
Since the inception of the ARIS system, we have seen a growing number of
organizations with a world-wide presence providing data to the ARIS system.
This configuration will allow such an organization to configure geographic
settings on a per-sensor basis.

  3. Event Settings - This subcategory will contain three configuration
options to allow for the automatic "closing" of events, as they are received
by the system. This makes these events invisible to you while using the
"Incidents" screen, and allows for the elimination of false positive, and
other undesirable events automatically from your view. Events will be
automatically closed based on the following three options:

     i. Events targeting ports that you specify
ii. Events originating from specific addresses that you specify
iii. Events of a particular type that you specify

The next new feature to be incorporated into the ARIS analyzer service will
be a new report configuration wizard for the "Reports" page. This wizard
will provide a friendly walk-through for report generation, with additional
functionality, and improved interface.

As always, please send any feedback you may have to
[email protected],

Thank you,
