Conference is back again in Amsterdam this year for the European leg of=20
its annual circuit. From the 21st to the 25th of May, this deep=20
knowledge security conference will once again bring together a unique=20
mix of security professionals, independent researchers, government and=20
law enforcement officials and members of the hacker underground.  This=20
year=E2=80=99s event will be their biggest European outing yet, at this y=

bigger and better venue -- the exclusive Okura Hotel, centrally located=20
in the heart of Amsterdam

For the first time ever, HITB2012AMS will run across a full week. This=20
year=E2=80=99s 2-day quad track conference will host the highest number o=
f=20
speakers to date with over 40 international industry experts in town.=20
Day 1 opening keynote will be delivered by Bruce Schneier -- world=20
renowned cryptographer and security technologist. Andy Ellis, Chief=20
Security Officer of Akamai will deliver his keynote on Day 2 and capping=20
things off at end of Day 2 will be the closing keynote by Ms Jaya Baloo=20
-- Verizon=E2=80=99s Identity and Access Management Expert. As with previ=
ous=20
years, the popular HITB series of hands on trainings will run on days=20
preceding the conference. This year=E2=80=99s trainings will also feature=
 a new=20
advanced 3-day edition of the Exploit Laboratory course and other topics=20
range from Hunting Web Attackers to Advanced Application Hacking.

With the bigger space in the Okura, the HITB experience this year will=20
also involve a larger showcase area. This will host the launch of an all=20
new Capture The Flag =E2=80=98live hacking=E2=80=99 competition, the crow=
d favourite=20
Lock Picking Village, a 12-hour hackathon to build security tools, the=20
hackerspaces CommSec Village plus a technology showcase area. The=20
showcase is open to public during the quad track conference days (24th /=20
25th of May)
