rico.suave: What you have described is how to do an ARP poisoning attack in IPv4. The original post was about IPv6. There is no such thing as ARP in IPv6. If you are using the free version of fake_router6 I have found it to be somewhat buggy. The "private" version is more reliable. Also, be aware that Cisco switches have features to block neighbor discovery attacks.
