Here is one that is easy to remember.

Disaster Recovery is before and during.

Business Continuity is to continue business after a disaster.

If you have good plans in each, nothing should effect you unless we have an
extinction level event then we may have problems ... :-)

the differences.  This summary is not mine, but comes from "The CISSP
Prep Guide," Wiley Computer Publishing, (c) 2001. ISBN: 0-471-41356-9.
The book is worth adding to your collection.

Found on the bottom of page 272:

"...Basically, business continuity planning is the process of making
the plans that will ensure that critical business functions can with-
stand a variety of emergencies.  Disaster recovery planning involves
making preparations for a disaster, but also addresses the procedures
to be followed during and after a loss."
