OAuth2 SASL library mechanism implementation

Hi everyone,

I have not seen a SMTP 'AUTH XOAUTH2' implementation in 
cyrus-sasl-2.1.25.tar.gz.
Has anyone implemented XOAUTH2 for cyrus sasl library?
I did find https://github.com/sweetums/SASL-OAuth but not sure if that 
is the officially supported for sasl library.

Any information is greatly appreciated,
