Re: next cyrus-sasl release

Dear all, dear Cyrus team,

There is a long time since current Cyrus-SASL version: 2.1.28 (2022-02-22).
-> 3 years, 8 months

There are already a lot of improvements and Guido Kiener (author of the pre=
vious comment) has done a good PR which must be merged about security: Chan=
nel Binding: tls-exporter:

Dovecot already supports it since 2.4.0 (2025-01-24):

At the same time, there is a message here about tls-server-end-point (RFC59=
29):

In the past, I=E2=80=99ve offered help with issues such as:

However, my impression is that there are currently no maintainers with
the time or interest to merge, fix, or test contributions.

Maybe you remember this contribution which is not merged, too.
