FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE=0D ----------=0D =0D Call for Papers=0D Alamo Chapter Information System Security Association=0D Symposium 2003=0D http://www.issa-alamo.org=0D An Alamo Chapter ISSA-sponsored symposium=0D 2 May 2003=0D San Antonio, Texas (http://www.issa-alamo.org/)=0D =0D Last year the Alamo Chapter of the ISSA held the second=0D symposium. The area of San Antonio has one of the=0D largest volumes of InfoSec Professionals in the United=0D States. The local chapter is the 7th largest in the=0D country and provides monthly meetings with provocative=0D and stimulating content. The symposium offers a=0D constructive environment for experienced InfoSec=0D Professionals, practitioners, newer participants in the=0D field and system administrators. The symposium is a=0D unique opportunity to exchange ideas. The Third Annual=0D ISSA Alamo Chapter Information Security Symposium:=0D Cyber Security will take place May 2nd at the Airport=0D Hilton Conference Center, San Antonio, Texas.=0D =0D This year the symposium will cover two tracks. We are=0D currently only looking for technical information white=0D papers to include in a CD we plan to distribute to all=0D attendees. The first track is the =93Management Track=94=0D and include two main issues 1) Incident Response and 2)=0D Continuity of Operations. The second track is the=0D =93Technical Track=94 and includes; 1) Intrusion Detection=0D and 2) Forensics. Our final session will be on =93Cyber=0D Law, Investigation, and Prosecution=94.=0D =0D There is to be a common thread of wireless security=0D throughout the tracks and final session. We welcome=0D any topics which may present a different view to=0D addressing new and old problems.=0D =0D To participate, please submit your paper, justification=0D in .doc or .txt format to [email protected] by=0D Friday, March 24, 2003.=0D =0D If you have questions or problems with your submission,=0D please e-mail the Program Chairs -Simon Foley=0D [email protected] and R.
