Hi, Sorry for any cross-posts. ISESTORM the Premium Security Training Event of ISECOM Call for Speakers, Trainers, and Interns. Full info available at www.isestorm.org. MARCH 22 TO APRIL 2, 2004 - BARCELONA SPEAKERS AND TRAINERS ISECOM is bringing international speakers and trainers from around the wo= rld to teach at ISESTORM. More than one speaker or trainer may be selected fo= r various subjects. All speakers and trainers must bring their own presentations, workbooks, and interactive projects. All speakers and trainers will receive promotion and recognition on the ISESTORM and ISECO= M websites. Full information is available at http://www.isestorm.org/call.shtml Trainers: Trainers must be experts with at least 3-5 years field experience and certification holders in the topics they teach. This includes CISSP, BSI = or BS7799 Auditor, and OPSA. Trainers may be teaching for up to 8 hours per day. Speakers: Speakers must be experts in the topic presenting with 3 to 5 years of experience. Speakers will be presenting 60 to 90 minutes and work interactively with the students for an additional 30 to 60 minutes. INTERNSHIPS There are 10 internship positions available for unpaid, event assistance = and group dynamics. Interns will be working with the event instructors and students and have the opportunity to watch and learn. All interns will receive proof of work experience and may be chosen for further ISECOM internships possibly internationally and other training attendance. -Interns must be Computer Science, Technology, or Computer Networking students with good grades. -Interns must be outgoing and prepared to help all attendees, trainers, a= nd speakers. -Interns may be required to do data collection, security testing, and oth= er types of assistance for the class. Some experience in security testing is helpful but not required. -Interns are required to meet the time schedule provided. -Interns must apply with the following: 1. a resume (CV) 2. a short (1 paragraph) biography focusing on interests 3. a reference in English, Catalan, Spanish, or German from an employer orUniversity professor 4. ABOUT THE EVENT: This is a premium event designed to maximize your educational experience = and complete your skills and knowledge for use everyday in the workplace. Interactive learning means there are no shortcuts. The harder you work wi= th your team, the more you will accomplish, and =93walk the walk=94 in the r= eal world of security along with the 3 certifications and 1 university accreditation you can return with to back it up. The pricing has been subsidized by ISECOM (www.isecom.org) and La Salle University (www.salleurl.edu) to as part of ISECOM=92s non-profit goals o= f providing security education to the public. Further sponsorships are requested. By day 10 you will have completed your team=92s final project of solving a real-world security ca= se study and achieved a total security experience and top-rate education. On the weekends, you may choose to take the associated industry exams for CISSP, BS7799 Auditor, and OPSA in the morning and enjoy the beautiful ci= ty of Barcelona, an international, cultural, center point for Europe.
