[ANNOUNCE] FireHOL 3.0.0-rc.1 released

I have released version 3.0.0-rc.1 of FireHOL.

As usual, you can get it from the website:
  http://firehol.org/download/releases/v3.0.0-rc.1/

Major changes:

There are all manner of changes and improvements in this version, from
performance improvements in both generating and the running firewalls
and quite a few new features discussed on the mailing lists.

We do not want to break anyone's current config. If you have a chance to
test the new version, please do so. It will be especially helpful if you
are able to (re-)audit the output rules - these will change from earlier
versions.

this list or by raising a ticket: https://github.com/ktsaou/firehol/issues

The documentation for new features is some way behind the programs at this
point, so the main effort to produce a 3.0.0 will be to make the website
and manual pages reflect the code.
