netdata on openwrt collect tc-data with firehol from existing configuration

Hej,

I installed firehol/netdata on an openwrt router, which shows useful 
information.
There is an existing tc / qos configuration and I would like to collect 
data from this configuration to see if and how the configuration works.

Is it possible to use firehol or fireqos to collect data from an 
existing tc-configuration?
How could I do this?

Or is it mandatory to do the config with fireqos to get data?

There is not that much room on a router to do all the funny thingies, so 
something slim would be nice.
