By "plain vanilla source tree" I mean the version of the Linux kernel
published by Linus Torvalds on kernel.org and NOT the custom patched kernels
that SUSE, Redhat and friends produce.

1) Exactly which version of IP-Filter did you use on exactly which version
of the Linux kernel?
2) What distribution is this and what version of GCC did you use?
