I attempted install of patched 4.1.32RC5 on a system and got these sorts of errors: May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9/ipf: undefined symbol May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: 'net_unregister_hook' May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9/ipf: undefined symbol May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: 'net_register_hook' May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9/ipf: undefined symbol May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: 'net_lookup' May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9/ipf: undefined symbol May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: 'net_release' May 13 14:14:55 ldap5 unix: WARNING: mod_load: cannot load module 'ipf' I suspect this is related to kernel 139555-08 updates on Solaris 10. I will back out the kernel patch and see if I can get some data.
