I used to have various issues with the original ipfilter in the past, and had to update with latest sources. I'm not going to update my various Solaris 10 until Oracle clarify exactly their licensing policies. I'm worried that ipfilter won't go into IllumOS or OpenIndiana, if Darren get closed into Oracle barriers... -= Mail sent through WebTop2 =- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Da: Summum Bonum A: [email protected] Data: 28 ottobre 2010 2.25.47 CEST Oggetto: Re: IPFilter no more? Yeah.. I am wondering about that too. Where is Darren Reed? I did a cvs on the latest branch, and there is no update for a while. I am about to rip out the public version of ip filter replace with the official Sun/Oracle version. Look like that is the supported version going forward for us Sun admin.. Just upgraded to Solaris 10 update 9, and I don't bother to it against 5.1.0 :( Yours, -- Sum Hello, what's happening to this list? nobody seems to discuss since the end of August 2010...another Oracle pray??...
