OK, I followed the instructions for upgrading from 1.3x to 1.8.1 and got the following: $ umount /ftmp && /sbin/mdmfs -s 16m md1 /ftmp umount: /ftmp: not a file system root directory So I ran the mount command to see what mounted filesystems are there and got: $ mount /dev/md0 on / (ufs, local) devfs on /dev (devfs, local) /dev/ad0a on /cf (ufs, local, read-only) I am guessing that I need to use /cf instead of /ftmp in the first command but I am just guessing. -- Brian Lloyd, WB6RQN/J79BPL 706 Flightline Drive Spring Branch, TX 78070 [email protected] +1.916.877.5067
