My apology for for cross posting but I got the impression = this list is mor active. I see relatively large dhcp.leases files in /var/db (nearly 100kb) in = several heavy used monowall's. Looking into the lease file I discover = about 40% of the entries where the end date is already in the past. Example: Total 350 DHCP leases, where 150 Entries have a end date in the = past.(i.E the end date is 23.01.2015 but on the 25.01.2015 I see this = entries still in the dhcp.leases file) I would assume leases entries = should be removed after the end date arrived. Correct? How long are the outdated DHCP leases stored in the lease file? Running 1.8.1 DHCP min lease time is set at 1hour, max lease time is set to 4h for the = relevant Captive Portal interface. I guess this behavior is not normal. The reason I bring this up is I had two boxes where the memory usage = grew up to 90% and had to be restarted. After the restart the memory = usage was back around 10%. Thanks you in advance for your time Jakob --Apple-Mail=_C3B3B544-5447-4127-9B0D-9D4D9D478C84 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii <html><head><meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html = charset=3Dus-ascii"></head><body style=3D"word-wrap: break-word; = -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;" = class=3D""><div class=3D"post" id=3D"msg_20151" style=3D"width: = 856.515625px; overflow: auto; line-height: 1.3em; font-family: verdana, = sans-serif;">Hi,</div><div class=3D"post" id=3D"msg_20151" style=3D"width:= 856.515625px; overflow: auto; line-height: 1.3em; font-family: verdana, = sans-serif;">I have posted the issue about a week ago in the forum, but = did not get any response.
