I too am sadden by this day but as we all know change is inevitable and I f=
ind myself only able to thank Manuel for all his hard work over the years. =
I have been using M0n0wall for over 11 years and I represent one of MANY th=
at have sat silently in the background using his firewall with great satisf=
action and a sense of real Net security not easily obtainable to the masses=
, like myself.=20
I agree with Lee, I too will continue to use M0n0wall for as long as possib=
le. Quite frankly, the alternatives available today can't hold a candle to =
M0n0.
Best of luck Manuel in all that you do, there are more of us "Techy Home Us=
ers" than I believe you will ever know.

Well, this makes me sad, as I do not think there is anything that can repla=
ce m0n0wall in the market right now.=C2=A0 I will look at OpenSense, but it=
 looks a little heavy.=C2=A0 And it will NOT fit on most of the hardware ha=
ppily running m0n0wall now...=C2=A0 But I will look.

However, I will probably continue to use m0n0wall for quite some time.=20
And I bet I am not alone, so I urge you to keep the forums open! :)=C2=A0 I=
 am betting there will be a fork more that is closer to what m0n0wall is no=
w, as well. :)
