Cisco ATA-188

Hi!

Anyone got a Cisco analog telephone adaptor running with their 
Smoothwall? It's supposed to be connected first and then a cable from it 
to the Smoothwall red interface, but the firewall can't/won't bring up 
the red interface. The ATA-188 uses DHCP to be configured and I haven't 
been able to figure out if it got it's own DHCP server or forwards the 
DHCP information it got. I tried putting it behind the firewall and use 
my own DHCP server, but I think it needs to know the WAN address and I 
can't change that (plus it's a dynamic connection and I couldn't figure 
out what ports to forward) as I don't have the password for the ATA-188. 
(Yes, it could be reset but I'd loose some information I need then.) The 
LEDs look ok and actually blinks so I think the cables are ok. I'm 
thinking Smoothwall don't accept the DHCP data it gets as wrong or not 
complete or... Without the ATA-188 Smoothwall runs nicely, as always. 
I've mailed the ISP support, but I expect them to just respond that they 
only support Windows machines.
