Up until two weeks ago we ran smoothie on a Pentium 133 with 60MB RAM, and a 30gb hdd. This was in a RED - GREEN - ORANGE configuration with our webserver in the DMZ. This was also feeding about 20 clients, on a 1.5mbit connection. We never had any issues besides hardware which forced us to install a new smoothie. regards Adrian Crossing System Administrator Regional Information Technology -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dan Gordon Sent: Thursday, 11 November 2004 4:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [gpl] minimum requirements On Wednesday 10 November 2004 12:03 pm, Stuart Munro wrote: > I am looking to start using smoothwall, but I havent found min > requirements, will a 600 p3 w/512 ram work or should I do a 1 gig. I have never been above 30 percent mem usage and that was after some heavy fooling around with the settings and stuff. You should have no problems at all :-) I cant answer your other question about the Roadster, sorry.
