Rudy, The obvious thing to do is to add a static route on the server back to 10.17.0.0 via 10.15.1.2. Have you done that? Also, to know what exactly is going on, you might want to capture packets on the 10.15 network, either with a separate device or by using the capture command on the PIX. That will tell you what is really going on.
