Has anyone has tried honeyd under colinux as a workaround for XP? ( Colinux allows you to run linux on an existing Windows XP pc, essentially as an 'application'. It doesn't change your booting nor your hard disk partitions) http://www.colinux.org/ ) It was trivial to install and run nmap under coLinux on XP. Nmap worked like a charm. I haven't had time yet, but my goal is to see if honeyd works under coLinux. It's certainly worth a try.... There have been several critical improvements that are not reflected in the current Windows port. Niels.
