#270: Compiling Libprelude ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: [email protected] | Owner: yoann Type: defect | Status: new Priority: high | Milestone: Component: generic | Version: 0.9 Severity: normal | Keywords: ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Hey, I am trying to compile libprelude and am getting this error message… checking for libgnutls-config... /usr/local/bin/libgnutls-config checking for libgnutls - version >= 1.0.17... no *** Could not run libgnutls test program, checking why... *** The test program compiled, but did not run. This usually means *** that the run-time linker is not finding LIBGNUTLS or finding the wrong *** version of LIBGNUTLS. If it is not finding LIBGNUTLS, you'll need to set your *** LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, or edit /etc/ld.so.conf to point *** to the installed location Also, make sure you have run ldconfig if that *** is required on your system *** *** If you have an old version installed, it is best to remove it, although *** you may also be able to get things to work by modifying LD_LIBRARY_PATH configure: error: libgnutls is required in order to build libprelude. [root@olccids1 libprelude-0.9.16.1]# whereis libgnutls libgnutls: /usr/local/lib/libgnutls.so /usr/local/lib/libgnutls.a /usr/local/lib/libgnutls.la [root@olccids1 libprelude-0.9.16.1]# libgnutls-config --version 2.2.0 I can see where the script is looking for anything greater than version 1.0.17 but as you can see I have 2.2.0 installed. HOW can I get the script to see 2.2.0?
