Python may be bigger, but part of that is what makes working with python so 
useful. I don't need to download a 100's libraries and modules to do the 
basic tasks.  It comes with a lot of horsepower built in.  (Why Lua needs a 
module for sockets completely lost me).

I would very much like to see this as it would put a quick end to my pure 
python correlator never finished.  Also I think this move would allow for 
quicker and more interesting rules from the community at large.
