I built the whole stack on RHEL5 back when I was planning on deploying on Red Hat machines. I eventually went to Debian/Ubuntu which has more current packages (and then finally decided that my needs were too large for Prelude to accommodate, at least for the free version). I'd be happy to share my SPEC files though if anyone's interested in building / maintaining a yum repo. -- [ Robert Vineyard | RHCE, Security+ ] [ [email protected] ] [ Information Security Engineer III ] [ 404.385.6900 | FAX 404.894.4690 ] [Finding a needle in a haystack isn't hard when every straw is computerized] Kaplan, Michael A wrote: > Prelude seems out of date in the yum repositories for FC 11/12. I am having trouble installing manually and I would like to use the later versions that rely on python. I've heard yum may work in FC13 beta, Thoughts? > > Mike > > |---------------------------------| > | Michael Kaplan | > | Sr. Research Scientist | > | Telcordia Technologies, Inc. | > | Piscataway, NJ | > | Phone: 732-699-3805 | > | Cell: 973-699-6775 | > | Email: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> | > |---------------------------------| > > _______________________________________________ > Prelude-devel site list > [email protected] > http://lists.prelude-technologies.com/mailman/listinfo/prelude-devel _______________________________________________ Prelude-devel site list [email protected] http://lists.prelude-technologies.com/mailman/listinfo/prelude-devel
