It's unlikely that anyone else will take it up.  Open Source Developer
really is a thankless job.  People complain constantly, and rarely even
so much as acknowledge that you're giving them something for free.  I
think over the years when I was the Ruleset Manager, only Yoann ever
said thanks.  When I was backporting the rules to the 0.8.6 branch, I
asked for someone to buy me a stupid $15 shirt for Christmas if they
found the rules useful.  Despite the fact that there were around 60
folks downloading those rules week-to-week, nobody even said, "sorry, I
can't afford the $15, but I wanted you to know I appreciate your
effort."
Unless they find it personally useful, there isn't much reason for an
Open Source Developer to stay with a project.  Yoann is now working for
Edenwall, and likely finds that rewarding professionally and
financially.
Anyways, keep using Prelude if you find it worthwhile for your needs.
If it's not, consider forking and improving it.  Otherwise, you'll need
to find something else.

Well I agree it is sad to say but there really has been no movment. The
question is do we fork or find some thing else. I wish I had the time to
invest in forking it and doing all the changes to the database API that
I
wanted to but I'm just too busy with work and my own projects to do it.
