hi *, i have a strange problem with prelude under debian etch. running inisde a openvz zone set up with debian minimal image from openvz.org. first of all i tried it with the deb packages from http://packages.inl.fr/stable/ after running into the problem i tried it with compiling from the source. installation/compilation of libprelude/libpredudedb/prelude-manager goes well. registration of a client (tried with ossec and preludelml) goes well also :) when i then try to connect the client to the prelude manger i see the following error in the preludemanager (running with --debug) WARNING: [x.x.x.x:57602]: error verifying certificate: The peer did not send any certificate.. WARNING: [x.x.x.x:57602]: connection closure error: TLS fatal alert from peer: Certificate is bad. INFO: [x.x.x.x:57602]: closing connection. on the client side i see the error INFO: Connecting to x.x.x.x:4690 prelude Manager server. prelude-client: Unable to initialize prelude client: TLS server certificate is NOT trusted. there must be huge brain bug on my side :) but i have no clue at the moment ... any ideas welcome cheers philipp _______________________________________________ Prelude-user site list [email protected] http://www.prelude-ids.org/mailman/listinfo/prelude-user
