reconnect question

In testing, when the prelude-manager on my collection machine is stopped the
clients are unable to reconnect on their own.
I am forced to go restart those services in order to reestablish connection.
I realize that the collection server should never go away; it should be a
high-availability type of system.

However, it would seem helpful if the client would periodically try to
restart the connection. Is there some config parameter I'm missing?

My system:

[root@v6auditsvr .libs]# uname -a
Linux v6auditsvr 2.6.25-0.204.rc8.git4.fc9.i686 #1 SMP Mon Apr 7 11:33:46
EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

[root@v6auditsvr .libs]# rpm -qa | grep prelude
prelude-lml-0.9.11-2.fc9.i386
libprelude-0.9.16.2-2.fc9.i386
libprelude-devel-0.9.16.2-2.fc9.i386
prelude-manager-0.9.11-1.fc9.i386

Thx,
LCB.
