Hello Sebastien,
No, I installed libpreludedb form source.
I tried to recompile it again and, as you can see bellow, these where my
recompilation steps.
First, to make sure that prelude-manager was not running another
libpreludedb instance, I deleted all files form libpreludedb on my system.
After that, I tried to run prelude-manager and like I was expecting, it
returned to me the following output:
24 Apr 10:32:49 (process:1671) WARNING: libpreludedb.so.0: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory.
24 Apr 10:32:49 (process:1671) INFO: Subscribing Normalize to active
decoding plugins.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:154: invalid section :
"db".
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:157: invalid option
"type" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:163: invalid option
"host" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:166: invalid option
"port" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:169: invalid option
"name" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:175: invalid option
"pass" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:178: invalid option
"key" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:179: invalid option
"cert" in "global" section.
After that I decompressed libpreludedb source package and patched it:
$ patch -p0 < preludedb-mysql-ssl.0.patch
patching file plugins/sql/mysql/mysql.c
patching file src/preludedb-sql-settings.c
patching file src/include/preludedb-sql-settings.h
Then I simply compiled it again:
$ ./configure
(...)
*** Dumping configuration ***
- Generate documentation : no
- Enable MySQL plugin : yes
- Enable PostgreSQL plugin : no
- Enable SQLite3 plugin : no
- Perl binding : yes
- Python binding : yes
(...)
$ make
$ make install
$ ldconfig
When I tried to run prelude-manager after recompiled libpreludedb, I got the
same output I reported to you in my previous email:
24 Apr 10:47:55 (process:16386) INFO: Subscribing Normalize to active
decoding plugins.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:178: invalid option
"key" in "global" section.
/usr/local/etc/prelude-manager/prelude-manager.conf:179: invalid option
"cert" in "global" section.
Probably I'm doing something wrong or is missing, from my system, some
additional package (I checked ./configure output and I didn't see nothing
wrong, but I'm not an expert in prelude framework :) ).
Thanks in advance, best regards,
Paulo Ferreira
